A presentation on KarDes mobile app and a workshop in which we will discuss how we can write stories/texts based on multicultural histories of cities and societies. The workshop will concentrate on the parts of history that become silent or silenced, the role of the “official narrative” and its effects on today’s understanding of the past and how to deal with the hate speech and inclusiveness while writing stories of the past.
Atom Şaşkal completed his undergraduate education at Koç University, Department of Media and Visual Arts in 2019. He has been working at the Hrant Dink Foundation since 2019.
